Christmas day air travel is...something. When you wouldn't expect many places to be open on Christmas day at 4:30am, this place was. The servers were so nice! The food was good. It was filling, delicious and for food money (considering it was airport food). Was a good decision before getting on a 3.5 hour flight that was delayed by 2 hours
Great food and Service by Tom i. Prices were average airport prices but the serving size was big. Shared the burger with my husband plus got the basket of onion rings and we were both stuffed.
5 stars considering it's the Newark airport. Fair prices, courteous service, and good quality diner food. The thick cut onion rings are perfectly cripy on the outside and tender inside. I'd return just for those. May be on the noisy side. I would recommend.
Great food and reasonable prices for a an Airport restaurant. Awesome Monte-Christo sandwich -- huge, think French toast and substantial filling. Nice blackened Chicken Caesar salad. Not overly fancy, but still a great option. The bakery case looks like it has some superb muffins, croissants, bagels, cake slices, and salads to go. Far better looking than most quick-grab airport options.
Very good coffee and the toasted bagel was on point. Sometimes you need to go out of your comfort zone from Starbucks and find deliciousness elsewhere lol
Breakfast was good. Service was great. Eric is a very welcoming person and really made sure we were set with everything we needed. Managed to put smiles on a few faces in the dining area as well which is greatly needed in the early AM airport terminal environment.
Had a meal here after getting off an eight hour flight. I thought the atmosphere was cozy and the place was clean. Very efficient service. The food was really good. I don’t know if it’s because I’d just been in Europe for a week but this was a particularly tasty and enjoyable meal while I waited to board. Maybe I’m just ready to be back but this meal made me happy to be back in America. Recommend if you’re in terminal C.
We had an excellent experience here. The atmosphere was inviting, the food and drinks were great, and everything came out quickly and tasted fantastic. What made the night stand out was our server, Michael, who took amazing care of us. He was attentive without hovering, friendly, and really on point with timing. He made sure we had everything we needed and checked in at the perfect moments. His professionalism and great attitude turned a good dinner into a great one. We will definitely be coming back and asking for Michael again. Highly recommend.
This chicken waffles is the best I ever had. The fried chicken is REAL chicken thigh (I was expecting frozen chicken tender/fingers, but it’s fresh). You can see the crispy skin (at the bottom, I did not photograph that), and it’s not greasy at all. It’s definitely house made. Waffle also tastes amazing and goes well with the chicken. If I had time I would like to personally greet the chef and tell them this chicken waffle is the best i ever had
Loved my time here at this classic Jersey style diner. I enjoyed a nice lunch here while waiting for my flight. Comfy place with TVs and great food. I highly recommend the chicken soup and chicken Parmesan.
